HERITAGE COMMISSION
The Los Angeles Cultural
Heritage Commission consists of five members. They are responsible for
determining whether individual properties meet the criteria for landmark
designation and for reviewing changes to designated sites. Their staff
can provide property owners with technical assistance in balancing proposed
change with architectural preservation. Early consultation is advisable
for review of projects. The Commission meets on the first and third
Wednesday mornings of each month.
